Resilience & Excellence
Determined to rebuild his life, Waseem fled to Erbil, Iraq, in 2018, where he faced immense challenges—including health struggles and the responsibility of supporting his family of eight. Despite these hardships, he persevered.
With sheer dedication, he opened a small tailoring shop, which over the years transformed into a successful, large-scale business serving high-profile clients from the Gulf and Europe. His commitment to craftsmanship and passion for mentoring others led him to provide free training for aspiring designers, ensuring the next generation could benefit from his expertise.
But Waseem’s dream didn’t stop there.
